Music Therapy... how does it work? what can I expect? what happens in a music therapy session?

Questions we're often asked when people connect with us to find out more about our services. So, we decided to answer all of these questions and more in our welcome pack.

We recorded audio to accompany the booklet to make it more accessible... you can turn this off easily if it's too much :)

Music therapy is an allied health profession where music is used intentionally and holistically to enhance

health, functioning and well-being. Our programs are person-centred in design and use live music making and improvisational music therapy techniques. Our music therapists are professionally registered with the Australian Music Therapy Association and are focused on strengthening abilities and enhancing an individual’s day-to-day life through music. We are a NDIS registered provider.
